Nine20four Motor Sports is a family owned and operated business. The Pride family has been involved in the automotive industry since the 20s when Pat Prides father (a blacksmith by trade) took a brand new model T apart  down to a pile of parts and bolts, then put it back together again just to learn what made it run... He was succesful and became hooked on anything motorized. He went on to be a mechanic and later owned several auto dealerships. The Pride families involvement in motor sports began in the 1970's when Pat Pride turned a Datsun station wagon into a winning road racer in Guadalajara Mexico.  Off road racing became the family passion in 1985 when Pat and his son Todd began racing buggies in the desert of Southern California. In the 30 plus years since they have done everything from change the spark plugs on their first buggies to building and modifying race trucks and rally cars. They have built and promoted several types of spec racers from road racing and short course trucks to dirt oval trucks. Tom Pride's involvement began with his father Pat Pride with that first Datsun road racer, he went on to crew chief for oval track teams and eventually was the clutch man for larry Minors top fuel NHRA teams and pit boss for the Miller Light and Otter pops desert teams in SCORE and HDRA. Todd Pride learned the art of marketing and promotion, under such industry leaders as Bill Homes SCCA Rally Champion and Desert Racer as well as Richard Canole (former owner of Texas World Speedway) among others. Josh Pride is the latest to join in the Pride family motorsports obsession. Josh was brought up around off road racing and has learned from and worked for some of the best in the industry including Bill Savage as a fabricator. This experience has given Todd, Josh and the nine20four Motor Sports team the knowledge and ability to take your race/play vehicle and team to the next level on and off the track.
